2nd book finished: Darkling... Yasmine Galenorn
Darkling is third book in the series. I have previously read Witchling and Changeling.
Essentially, this series revolves around 3 half-fae sisters from the Otherworld who are trying to stop an invasion from a demon name Shadow Wing, while dealing with a civil war going on in the Otherworld. Sounds dark and heavy, but it isn't - these books are like bubblegum. Funny and sarcastic, no better than then the genre, but yet, amusing enough.
So to date:
1. My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding... P.N. Elrod
2. Darkling... Yasmine Galenorn

It's funny, I thought the story was more complex in the beginning. Once they started getting rid of all the cumbersome nobles in the first book, everything got easier for me. :)
For what it's worth, the next trilogy is about the kid, Imriel, and is (IMO) a lot less complicated overall. There's also, I think, less BDSM/sex.
