Blah,  I would have put The Moon is a Harsh Mistress for Heinlein, or the darkover books for Marion Zimmer Bradley - those spawned the short story anthologies which spawned Sword and Sorceress anthologies - which spawned Mercedes Lackey, Jennifer Roberson, Elisabeth Lynn, and many, many more writers.
