musical top ten
Apr. 15th, 2008 04:36 pmMy current Top 10 -
1. "China in Your Hand" by T'Pau - the album version. You know the one where it's about Frankenstein, and the about Mary Shelley writing Frankenstein, all in the same song.
"Oh hands move and heart beat on
Now life will return in this electric storm"
Bet you never heard that version....
2. "Africa" by Toto (the 12 inch version) - because sometimes you just need a dance beat to stay awake. How high this is shows that this is my prefered dance beat.
3. "Banned From Arkham" by Terence Chau - 'Cause Cthulu humor is of the good.
4. "Syacamore Tree" by Seanan McGuire - must get her albums when I can afford them.
5. "Skullcrusher Mountain" by Jonathan Coulton - mad scientist love song. Makes me wanna giggle. Who doesn't want a monkey-pony?
6. "I'm Still Here" by John Rzezncik. I just like the song. Clearly, a lot.
7. "Twist the Knife" by Shakespeare's Sister - 'cause they made a song besides Stay that is very good. This one has outsted Stay.
8. "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane - because Supernatural has a hold of my life.
9. "Carry on my Wayward Son" by Kansas - what, you are surprised by yet another Supernatural song?
10. "Dance with Sleeping" by Melissa Etheridge - Just because. It got me through a very rough summer. Sometimes all you can do is dance.
