1. What are your nicknames?
Nickname? There isn't anything I don't object to that comes from my name. My boss tried to give me one, but it failed miserably.
2. Have you ever had a dream involving a celebrity?
Yes. Strangely, the celebrity is never themselves, rarely their characters, and often a new character. My brain is weird, yo.
3. What was the last novel you loved?
to take Seanan's words -
Loved, having never read before: Gale Storm by Rachel Caine Loved, on a re-read (a common occurrence around these parts): No Humans Involved, by Kelley Armstrong. I loves my women of the otherworld series.
I can't read enough new books to keep my happy. So, I must, perforce, re-read.
4. What is your favorite scent?
BPAL - Pinched with Four Aces or Snow/Glass/Apples.
Pinched is "Colorado Maduro tobacco wrappers, cinnamon bark, coffee bean husk, and dry woods"
This should not smell good on me. I hate tobacco, don't like coffee all that much, and well, cinnamon? But it's smoky, sexy, wood and caramel. It's my going out smell, and OMG, it smells so good on me.
Snow/Glass/Apple is snowy minty apple - a crisp green apple that is ice cold, tart and juicy on your lips, with just a hint, a very faint hint of crushed mint on the air. It smells clean and fresh, and yet dark. It's my daytime scent.
And both are limited editions, so when the bottles are gone, the perfume is forever gone.
5. If you had a million dollars that you could only spend on yourself, what would you do with it?
Pay off my debt, get an apartment, furnish it, go back to school. Oh, and fill up my library and CD rack with all the things I want and cannot have. Oh, and feed my perfume habit. And my candle habit. And go to England/Scotland/Ireland for at least a month.
6. What is your theme song?
I honestly can't say, because my older portable hard drive crashed, and with it I lost my info on how often I played what.
But Seanan Mcguire's filk, the soundtracks to Wicked and Dr. Horrible, the music from Supernatural, the music I use as the soundtracks to my Avengers and my Secret Invasion marvel games - these are the soundtracks of my life. I almost always have music on. I can go days without food, I can't go days without music.
7. Do you trust easily?
Yes. In that I trust easily at the start - in the little things, in the little ways.
No. In that I find it hard to trust that people really do like me, and so getting to the level of the kind of trust that good friends have, not so many. I keep expecting the shoe to drop.
8. Do you generally think before you act, or act before you think?
What day is it? How much sleep have I had, and how impatient am I? I think about the big things, way too much. But it only hurts me, and I think I can win the gamble, nah, not much thinking going on.
9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Politics. The Civil War Marvel story line. The fact that I have run out of SG-1 to watch. The fact that I missed Hellhound on My Trail. People stuff.
10. Do you have a good body-image?
Nope. I weight way too mcuh.
11. Is being tagged fun?
IYes.
12. Can a preying mantis eat a mouse?
Of course it can.
You know, it's illegal to kill them in Pennsyvlania. And the buggers seem to know that, and you weren't really using that finger, right?
We had a garden. The garden had preying mantis. They can't really take your finger off, but oh, man, they try. Hard.
13. What have you been seriously addicted to lately?
BPAL. Starbucks lemonade ice tea, though I am missing the orange syrup. New Filk. NPR. Teen Titans. Chocolate, but that's not so much lately as always.

Awesome. I wish I had her fearlessness.

My black shawl. Which is missing. Shawls keep me warm. I love shawls. They are like cloaks, only people don' t look at you funny when you wear one.

Why would I want the Krispy Kreme? Down with Krispy Kreme! Bring back Dunkin' Donuts!
18. What would you do if you see saw $100 lying on the ground?
If I think I can find it's owner, I will try. I lost my purse one day. It was returned to me, and that was a miracle. The person who lost the money might need it badly. Miracles need to be repaid.
19. What items could you not go without during the day?
My ipod. My portable hard drive. My backpack. My crocs. Sadly, my inhaler. And my glasses. I am blind without them.
