Holy Smokes is part of MacAlister's Guardian/Dragon series. Romantic comedies with a supernatural element and she is finally fixing some of the problems of the series. Yeah! They have always been amusing, but the main character has been too incompetent for me to care about - this time around she is actually solving some problems not by accident.
Kitty and the Silver Bullet is part of a series of werewolves. I am glad Kitty is actually growing a backbone, and hints of greater things moving in the world are beginning to intrigue me.
