Yeah, but the original writer left at the end of the last season, after breaking up Lorelei and Luke and marrying her off to Christopher.
Which really, really, truly, and utterly bit the big one. And then, it took 3/4 of a season to get Lorelei and Luke talking to each other again (and to get Christopher out of the picture). So, the series will end, with Lorelei and Luke not on solid ground (if they even get them back together in anything other than friends). Which really, really jipes all those of us who were rooting for Lorelei and Luke from the get-go. I watched this season with the hope that they were going to repair what had happened to the show, and the answer is, "eh, not really".
Christopher is now my all time most hated character.
