9. Assassin's Quest... Robin Hobb
10. White Knight - Jim Butcher
Must own Dresden files. Must track down used copies because I can't afford to start a 10 book series from scratch. <mutters darkly> I have been to two used bookstores and the comment I got was "Do you think you would sell them back?" when I inquired if they ever got them in.
Assassin's Quest was decent. The ending was just... blah. So, the Red Ships have been this huge problem for 3 books and then, it ends in like 10 pages. I know getting to the solution was the point of the series, but it did feel kinda ant-climatic.
On the other end, gargh, argh, the Dresden files just keep getting better. I do agree with one of the characters that Harry needs to start trusting his allies. At least the ones he CAN trust. But gah, argh, they even fixed a problem I had with the last three books where I had to keep asking myself "How does the White Council NOT notice this?" and THIS has been removed.
