I would really, really love to get  a Kindle DX.

But the price is just way to high.  $500 for an electronic book reader?  No way.  At $200 I might try to save and scrip to get one, at $150 I would be saving to get one.  But $500 just puts it into the no way, no how.

Gah.  I know they must be expensive to produce, but that expensive?  Really?

Border's has some kind special going on for them around $300-350 I think. I saw the special when I walked into the one by house and thought to myself "For that kind of money I could almost get an EEE-PC pocket laptop."

They're a niche item.

They'll come down eventually, though, just like every other computer.

I'm waiting for the comic book-sized e-reader, personally.
