I found out that I knew a good deal of it, but I was dreadfully wrong in some of it.
One does run water over third degree burns, for example, and does give warm (not hot) drinks to a hypotherma victim.
And CPR is very hard to do for the amount of time it would take a professional to get there.
Work was willing to pay for the training, and I had been meaning to do so for some time.
But the mere idea that I could potentially need the training scares me.
