So, it's my last break on Friday, and I have accomplished NOTHING non-work related all week.

And my in-box is only slightly less high than it was last Friday, and my boss is asking for daily updates. "Still not finished. Won't be for awhile." How many ways can you say that?

Got one of the 3 big projects done. That leaves 2 big projects (one a double-parter), one medium sized project, and the daily upkeep that is work-- entering readers, entering contracts, etc.

I wish I wasn't so tired all the time. I have a good movie, Lathe of Heaven, that I got from Netflix, had it for a two weeks now, but I can't get the energy up to watch it- it's one of those movies you have to think about.

I was going to watch it last night while I was cooking/doing more work on the kitchen/doing laundry, but was too distracted by things that needed to get done, so on when VH-1. Which as doing a 'I Love the 80s special'.

1984 and 1986 to be exact.

The Advent of Madonna. Prince was big. Punky Brewster. George Michael in Wham. The start of Comic Relief.

I was only 9 in 1984. 11 in 1986. But I remember the music from that time period BETTER than the music from high school years. I wonder if that's cause 90s music is so non-memorable, if 80s is especially memorable, or if there is something about that time period that shapes a person's music tastes.

I have talked to my mother about her favorite music, and it's what she was listening to at ages 9-14. I wonder if that is the norm.
