Gah.

Obama is in support of the new FISA bill.  IE - it's legal to violate the rights of american citizens if the President says it is.

I will be calling senators this week, but one of them will be for it, and one of them against it, and nothing I do with change the for it's mind.

Nope. The house just passed a bill giving the telecoms immunity - i.e. their illegal searches will be deemed legal if they had presidential sayso. Which isn't really constitutional. Here's the AP article.

Feinstein, the jerk, was on board with it too. I hate her. She's not a liberal. I know she is a Democrat Senator, but she is not a liberal.

(Is still very upset about the chiding letter she received from Feinstein's office that didn't address any of her points, and was very, very condescending).
